Tabor-Rice should be the only funeral home that you should visit. I grew up in Brighton before it was even on the map. My wife and I moved to California about 10 years ago and my wife wanted to be buried in Colorado. We used a funeral home in California and used Tabor-Rice in Colorado, Mark and Mary helped to make it a seamless process with the respect and elegance that it deserved. They will truly listen to your concerns no matter how far away you may be, or even how near or far family may be coming. I am so very grateful to Tabor and especially Elaine who handled every aspect and every detail of my husbands passing with kindness and grace. I will be forever indebted as it was such a difficult time for our family with the loss of someone so loved and important to us. Elaine left no detail unattended so I was able to find the peace I needed during this process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all involved.
I have never dealt with a more caring, compassionate person than Collin Tabor. There is so much to do, and so much to think about when a loved one passes away. Last month when I lost my husband Collin made it as easy as possible in helping with all the arrangements and special requests. I called him numerous times, and he always answered my questions with patience and kindness. In this time of COVID when churches are limited to 50 attendees TABOR has made special arrangements to live stream the services so that family members and friends are able to participate virtually. TABOR makes everything so special and personal from the obituary page and video to the memorial packet. I can't thank Collin and his staff enough for the care that they showed me and my family .We will be forever grateful.
Everyone at Tabor was absolutely amazing and willing to help us through losing my father-in-law so suddenly. Mark is so patient and kind. He accommodated us in every way he possibly could in the process of having to plan a funeral during Covid. Mark was described on here multiple times as being more like family not a businessman and I have to wholeheartedly agree. Mark and his amazing team are the most compassionate and caring people we have come to know. Mark assisted our family with our son’s arrangements and was amazing at helping us walk through the process. We lost Dalton suddenly and tragically, it would have been easy to hurry us through. Twenty years ago, our daughter Emily and her boyfriend Stuart were killed in a tragic car accident. I remember hearing the news that day and having no idea where to turn, when someone told me about a new funeral home in Brighton. I have never forgotten how gracious, kind, and compassionate Pat was to our family. This past week we held a memorial not to remember our loss but to remember all the friends and family who came together to support us at our time of grief. Hearts meld together at times like those and are never the same but richer and more compassionate toward others. Thank you, Pat. We love you and want to thank you once again.

Tabor-Rice was nothing short of amazing. Mark was amazing to work with and went out of his way to do everything he could to accommodate us. He was more like family than a businessman. We had lots of questions and concerns, Mark was always willing to help, take a phone call or call back if he wasn’t available right away. We were extremely pleased and we’ll never go anywhere else when we have to lay another family member to rest. Stephanie answered emails right away and we never had to wait to get a reply. Pat was very helpful and compassionate while we went through the painful process of trying to get our son's body back from Atlanta so we could get him laid to rest here in Brighton. It was a hard, painful time but he was there with us every step of the painful way... We appreciate everything that was done with us and for us.....
