Zachary “Zac” Elijah Bruns

Zac was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Rick Bruns and Sherry Worrell Bruns and was the youngest of two. His family moved to Colorado when he was just 8 years old. Even though Zac grew up primarily in Colorado, his southern Arkansas roots never left him.

Zac married the love of his life and his soulmate, Jenna Renae Parrick on April 22, 2012. The two initially met while attending Arapaho Ridge High School, Boulder Co. Zac was a senior and Jenna was a junior. The two began to date in 2011 and were wed in 2012. September 12, 2017, Zac and Jenna welcomed a sweet son Zavan Elisha Bruns into this world.

Zac graduated from Centarus High School in Lafayette CO in 2008. Zac achieved his CDL, driving over the road trucks for JBS. Driving locally for Waste Connections after the birth of their son in order to be close to home.

Zac spent his life living as a dedicated husband and father. He enjoyed spending as many moments as possible with his family. His needs and wants were simple, taking care of their home, working in the yard, hiking with family, playing with their son.

Zac can best be described by the absolute love he had in the Lord. He was strong in his faith and his trust. He would never miss a chance to disciple or witness to someone in need. His strong, positive influence was a blessing to many. His faith in God remained strong and steadfast, never wavering and always pure in heart.

Zac is survived by his wife and soulmate Jenna, his precious son Zavan, Rick Bruns (Father), Sherry Worrell Bruns (Mother), Schelle Bruns (Stepmother), Jake Bruns (Brother), Janay Bruns Clark (Sister), Nick Davenport (Stepbrother), Savannah Stout (Stepsister), Bo Parrick (Mother-In-Law) , Justin, JD, Jeremy and Jesse Parrick (Brothers-In-Law) Dick and Susan Wolfe (Honorary Parents), Jordan and Jessica Wolfe (Best Friends, brother , sister), a large extended family, his work family and his church family!
