On Thursday, July 15, 2021, Yolanda (Yoly) Medina, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 61 in Brighton, Colorado. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Yoly had touched in some way throughout her life. She was born September 21, 1959, to the late Jose Salgado and Alejandrina M de Salgado in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico and was one of five siblings. Yoly married the love of her life Gustavo Medina Sr. on December 15, 1979.
Yoly enjoyed spending time with family, friends, shopping, traveling, visiting her favorite restaurants, watching the Broncos, soccer and her favorite novellas and recently Extalon.
Her devoted love and care were genuine and abundant, she always welcomed everyone and cared so deeply. Yoly touched many lives with her kindness, generosity, and fun-loving spirit. She leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Yoly leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Gustavo of 41 years of marriage and three children; Rosy (Dany)Gonzalez, Gustavo Jr. (Leah)Medina, Eric (Alainna)Medina, four grandchildren; Joslyn, Jacob, Thiago and Charlie Lainn along with brothers Charlie and David as well as sisters Bertha and Rosa Salgado and numerous nieces, nephews, God children and other loving family members.
She is preceded in death by both her parents.
El jueves 15 de julio del 2021, Yolanda (Yoly) Medina, una amorosa esposa, madre y abuela, falleció a la edad de 61 años en Brighton, Colorado. Sus últimos días los pasó rodeada de familiares y amigos que Yoly toco sus vidas de alguna manera a lo largo de su vida. Nació el 21 de septiembre del 1959, hija del fallecido, José Salgado y Alejandrina M de Salgado en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México y fue una de cinco hermanos. Yoly se casó con el amor de su vida, Gustavo Medina, el 15 de diciembre del 1979.
Yoly disfrutaba convivir con su familia, amigos, ir de compras, viajar, visitar sus restaurantes favoritos, ver los Broncos, fútbol y sus novelas favoritas y recientemente Extalon. Su amor devoto y cuidado eran auténticos y abundantes, que siempre les dio la bienvenida a todos y se preocupaba enormemente. Yoly tocó muchas vida con su amabilidad, generosidad y con un espíritu amoroso y divertido. Ella no deja nada más que hermosos recuerdos. Todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerla la extrañarán mucho.
Yoly deja a su amado esposo Gustavo con quien convivio 41 años de matrimonio, y tres hijos; Rosy (Dany) Gonzalez, Gustavo Jr. (Leah) Medina, Eric (Alainna) Medina, cuatro nietos; Joslyn, Jacob, Thiago y Charlie Lainn junto con sus hermanos Charlie y David también sus hermanas Bertha y Rosa Salgado y muchas sobrinas, sobrinos, ahijados y otros familiares.
