Thurman Harrison Jr.

On Monday, August 3, 2020, Thurman Harrison Jr., a loving son, brother, Uncle, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 65. Thurman Jr. was born June 6, 1955 to his parents, Thurman and Earlene (Dyson) Harrison in Kansas City, Kansas. As a child, he developed a lasting love for animals by caring for the family pet, Beulah, a pointer dog. Thurman Jr. had a passion for fishing and traveling in the state of Colorado searching for the best fishing spots. He played baseball and went to the Rockies games as often as possible. In addition he thoroughly enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos football games. Thurman Jr. is preceded in death by his brother, Steven, his niece, Rochelle, his nephew, Steven Cody, and his mother, Earlene. He is survived by his father, Thurman, his daughter, Chaunte' (Sean), two grandsons, sisters, Ethal and Deborah, brother-in-law Ronnie, and brother, Wayne, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. A burial service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 2:15 pm. at Ft. Logan Cemetery. Flowers or donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
