Shirley Lambert Obituary

Shirley Mae Lambert

Shirley was born in Milliken, Colorado to Opal Nobel and Joseph Schmidt and was the middle child of three siblings. She was married to James Paul Smith in 1960 and then was later married to Allen Lambert in 1998.

Shirley spent all of her life in Colorado living mostly in Northern Colorado with most of her time spent in Lochbuie, Brighton and Thornton. She worked for Wonder Bakery, Storage Tech, Queens Laundry and she drove a school bus for Brighton School District when she retired.

Shirley enjoyed spending time with family, attending church and watching her favorite shows. She loved the holidays where she was able to spend time with family gathered around her. She was actively involved with her church and loved serving the Lord.

Her home was always open to all whom needed a place to stay and a hot meal. Shirley was known as either mom or grandma to more than just her kids or grandkids. Her faith in God remained strong until her last moments on earth, which was spent surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Michelle Smith/Estrada; her son Michael Smith; along with four grandchildren Eddie, Jeremy, Michael and Stephanie; and ten great grandchildren Eddie, Barbara, James, Michael, Chad, Iva, Eli, Nya, Lea, Ari; and unborn great-great grandchild NaValia. She is preceded in death by both her parents; sister Estella; brother Joseph; and husband Allen.
