Rose Nordloh Obituary

Rose Elise Nordloh was born south of Hudson, Colorado on July 10, 1932 to Ray and Eva Beierle. She was the second child of 5 to Ray and Eva, she was the only girl. Rose attended Central Business College in 1951-52. After graduating she worked for American Security Insurance for three and a half years, moving up from a typist to casualty underwriter. Soon thereafter, she worked for Travelers’ Insurance, again starting as a typist and quickly advancing to assistant supervisor. She married Reed L. Nordloh whom she met at Campion, CO. It was love at first sight and they knew they were brought together by The Lord. Reed and Rose were married on February 14th, Valentine’s Day 1962. They both shared the same birthday July 10th with Rose being 4 years younger than Reed. Reed passed away on October 26, 1996.

As newlyweds, Reed and Rose were in a terrible car accident, which left Reed paralyzed from the waist down and Rose broke her neck. Rose walked in -18 degree weather to get help.

Reed and Rose had three children. Adele Rose Williamson, who passed away August 29th, 2016. Adele was Reed’s daughter from his first marriage. They also adopted two children, Ronald Charles Nordloh and Leane Anett Nordloh. Leane passed away on October 30, 1975, she was only 6 years old at the time of her passing.

Rose spent her days taking care of Reed, helping him as he worked as a landscaper, mowing, rototilling, etc. She also sewed, baked, needle point and volunteered at the local hospital near her home in Brighton, making baby and lap blankets and carrying bags for folks using walkers and wheelchairs. She also loved playing piano and organ for the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Brighton where she attended.

Reed and Rose also spent some time traveling with their children Ronald and Leane across parts of the Western United States, and up into Canada to visit relatives.

Rose will be remembered for her loving devotion to her husband and children. Also, for her gentle and giving heart, but most of all, her love to Our Lord Jesus Christ in whom she put her full trust in.

Rose is survived by her son Ronald Nordloh of Thornton, Colorado and her brother Edward Beierle of Norman, Arkansas. Along with 5 grandchildren; Jeffery, Christopher, Rebecca, Ashley and Marda. She also has five great-grandchildren; Brylei Jo, Brooklyn, Owen, Leni Jo and Barrett. She is preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, 3 brothers and 2 daughters. Ray and Eva, Reed, Arnold, Raymond, and Harold, Leane and Adele.
