Mary Jane Walker

Mary Jane “Mom Mom” Walker, age 77 went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 4, 2020. She was born July 25, 1942 in Allentown, Pennsylvania and had most recently lived in Brighton, Colorado. She was predeceased by her parents Adelaide Schoop Walker and Willis Benjamin Walker and brother John Walker. She is survived by daughter Suzanne and husband Allen,  daughter Amy and husband John, grand children Jeremy, Krista and Katelynn and a great grandchild Tyler.

She was known by most as Mom Mom.

Mom Mom was a fork lift driver for Caloric Corp. in Topton, PA and she was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery and was an avid collector of nesting dolls, paper weights and Hall piggy banks. She was a lover of horses and had many throughout her early years. Her favorite horse’s name was Midnight.

A celebration of life service conducted by Brighton Outreach Ministries will be held at SDA Church, 567 E. Bromley Lane, Brighton CO on Sunday, February 16th at 2:00 PM.
