Kenneth Funk passed away September 11, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
Ken was born in Lakewood, Colorado on October 22, 1942, to Alfred and E. Virginia Funk. He attended Lakewood schools and joined the U.S. Army after graduation, serving in Germany.
He worked in cabinetry, construction, building the largest clear-span riding arena, operated archery adventures in Aurora, and farmed near Brighton.
He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and shooting sports, fishing, riding and training his horses, boating, scuba-diving, gold mining in California’s Trinity Alps and flying his single engine airplane.
Ken is survived by his wife, Carol, son, Kenneth Jr., two grand-children, Leah and Samuel, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, William and Gary.
