Keefe Marshall Robinson, of Brighton CO., passed away in his home on Friday January 15, 2021. Keefe was born June 19, 1952 in Camp Kilmer, New Jersey to Fayetta and Willy Robinson. He attended public school in Denver, CO where he was raised. He married Lorraine Marquez on September 20, 1975 and made a home in Brighton, CO for the 21 years they were married until her passing.
Keefe’s love, faith, and dedication to the Lord, gave him strength through his years as a single parent to his children. He married Kathleen (Kohls) on April 14, 2001 and celebrated life, traveling and watching their family grow. He was an athlete, who played in many softball and basketball leagues. He coached his children and impacted many lives through his love of sports. He always represented Colorado and loved his Broncos and Nuggets. He enjoyed family gatherings and was always the first one on the dance floor. He loved music, and anyone in his vicinity was soon pulled into his arms to join him. After 25 years, Keefe ended his time with Avaya alongside his many friends and relatives. For the following 11 years, he worked for Tru Check. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He also had a magnitude of love for his nieces and nephews.
Keefe is preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine Robinson; his eldest Daughter, Russelle Kekadakis; his brother Maurice Robinson; and a host of in-laws, extended family and friends.
Keefe leaves behind his wife, Kathleen Robinson; one brother Merlin "Darcel" Robinson. His children: Keefe Robinson Jr, Crystal Martinez (Gilbert), Jacqui Moya (Christopher), Tre Robinson, Max Kohls, Yolanda Escarzaga (Burto), Gerilyn Sandoval (Billy), 18 grandkids, and 9 great grandkids; and many relatives and friends.
