Jimmy was born in California at Travis Air Force Base to Jim and Betty Sweetman in 1955.
Jimmy spent the majority of his life in Henderson, Colorado working with his dad and helping him build his business. Later he and his siblings would take over that business so their dad could retire. Jimmy loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a hunter and fisherman. He could spend hours scouting for deer and elk or waiting for a fish to bite. He enjoyed vacationing and riding 4wheelers, whether it be in the mountains of Colorado or the deserts of Nevada.
Jimmy is survived by his life partner Betty jo; along with his children son Jimmy, daughter in law Jenni, son Isaiah, daughter D’Anna, son in law Matt, daughter Jolynn and brother Kevin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren Danielle, Nate, Dylan, Kyler, Zachary, Kelsi, Danny and Branson and his great granddaughter Oaklynn. Jimmy Is survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and brothers and sisters in law. He is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Betty as well as his sister Cathy.
