Frances Belle Saucier 86 passed from this life on May 31, 2022. Frances was born in a one room log cabin October 26, 1935, to Owen and Doris Gaut. She was raised in the beautiful Colorado mountains in Hot Sulphur Springs along with her sisters MaryAnn, Betty Jane and younger brother Bruce. In the Spring of 1942, Owen and Doris moved the family to Denver.
Frances made numerous friends in elementary school with whom she kept in contact throughout her life. She enjoyed many good times and conversations with her lifelong girlfriends
Frances was the proud mother to her five children as well as an equally proud, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Frances married Alvis “ Papa” Saucier on June 20th 1970. Alvis and Frances moved to Englewood in 1974. Their home in Englewood became the heart of the Saucier’s growing family, where many happy gatherings occurred.
Those left to cherish Frances’ memory are her brother Bruce and his wife Jackie Gaut, along with her five loving and thankful children and their spouses: Kristy and her husband Mark, Loni, Nancy and her husband Ben, Shawn and his wife Mary, youngest daughter Robin, as well as Frances’ 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Owen and Doris Gaut, sisters Betty Jane and MaryAnn and her loving husband Alvis Saucier.
Celebration of life for Frances is planned on the first anniversary of her passing, May 31, 2023. As per her wishes her ashes will be spread - along with those of her husband Alvis and their pets- at her childhood home on the Beaver creek in Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado, and at Papa’s favorite fishing hole. May they rest in love and peace together in the beautiful Colorado mountains.
