Dalton was born April 12, 1992 in Denver, CO to Robert Hayes and Crystal Hayes. He was the youngest of two. Dalton attended Mountain Range High School and graduated in 2010.
Dalton spent the majority of his life in Thornton and Keenesburg, CO. He moved to Texas with his job for three years and returned home to Colorado in December 2019. He worked as a Quality Technician at Encon.
Dalton had a great love for his family and always wanted to be there to help fix what ailed them. He had a huge heart and was one of the most charismatic people around.
Dalton enjoyed being a cowboy – riding his horse, roping his steer head, taking care of his Red Heeler “Walker” and just being out in the barn with his best friend -- his Dad. Dalton was always looking for the next adventure. He had plans to buy a few cows and try his hand raising cattle.
Dalton is survived by his Father and step mother, Rob and Fran Hayes; his mother, Crystal Hayes, his sister Robie Lee Mathews (Josh) and nephew, Brady; his grandparents Phil and Linda Hayes, Uncles – Craig and Jim Hayes and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. Dalton is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Reuben Sterkel.
In honor of Dalton, everyone is invited to wear purple.
Reception will be held at Dalton’s home at 39005 E 160th Ave, Keenesburg, CO immediately following the burial. Everyone is invited to come out and celebrate Dalton’s life.
