Cornelia was born on May 17, 1924 in Laramie, Wyoming to Edna Snell Fellows & Henry D. Fellows. She passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 96.
She graduated from Denver South High School in 1941. Afterwards, she attended nursing school at St. Joseph's Nursing School in Denver. When WWII began, she worked at Continental Airlines at Stapleton, where she met her future husband, Paul S. Plymesser. They were married on Valentine's Day in 1945.
They welcomed their son, Stanley, in 1946 and their daughter, Linda, in 1948.
Cornelia started working for Sears Roebuck & Co. on North Broadway in Denver during the 1950's. She then transferred to the new Cherry Creek Sears when it opened. After 30 years with Sears, she retired.
Cornelia is survived by her daughter, Linda; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and three great great granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by both parents; a brother, Duey; husband, Paul; and son, Stanley.
Memorial Services honoring Cornelia will be Friday, January 15, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Brighton United Methodist Church, in Brighton, Colorado.
