Chance John Green

Chance John Green was born on January 7th 1969 in New York to Charles Green and Leslie Eileen Green (Johnson)

He graduated from Pomona Highschool in Arvada Colorado. He attended Red Rocks Community College and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Waste Water Management and numerous certifications in Water Management.  

Chance married Renee Lee Green (Potter) December 22, 2016 in Brighton, Colorado. He was a father to 4 children; Chance Jacob, Alissa Josephine, Lexi Jean and Katelin Marie.

Chance worked for Denver Water for more than 25 years as upper management. He later took a position in Brush, Colorado as Deputy Waste Water Manager.

In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing with his kids, riding horses and spending time at the lake with Renee. He was a man of many talents, he enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, playing and coaching soccer for his kids not to mention, cooking his signature dish, lasagna. Chance loved spending time with his family. He traveled and supported all of his children’s activities. He was a family man.

Chance is survived by his wife, Renee along with his children; Chance, Alissa, Lexi and Katelin. His father; Charles. Siblings; Susan L. (Carl) Olson, Stephanie (Gregory) Riley, Melisa (Chris) Hafner and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Leslie Eileen.

The family extends an invitation to join them for a Celebration of Life Friday October 29th at 11:00am at Barr Lake State Park Visitor Center located on 13401 Picadilly Rd, Brighton, CO 80603.
