Carole Delight Rupp

Carole was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles and Elizabeth Slusher December 9, 1945 and was the oldest of three children. 

Carole was married to Edwin Rupp December 29, 1979 in Arvada, Co where they resided until March 1997 when they moved to Fort Lupton, Co. 

Carole spent the majority of her life raising, riding and showing Appaloosa horses and in her early years competed in high school rodeo barrel racing. There was no question that Carole's biggest passion in life was her horses. She shared that passion with her daughters and most recently with her grand daughters who now also ride and compete. 

Carole ran her own hay business for many years buying and selling hay, anyone who was around back then probably hauled hay a time or two with her. Later in life Carole obtained her Class A CDL and went to work driving a truck, Carole retired from Martin Mariettta in 2019 and was most proud of the work she did there. 

Carole had an insatiable love for the mountains, she enjoyed trail riding, an occasional trip to the casinos and most recently she enjoyed watching westerns and crocheting, the afghans she made were beautiful. 

Carole was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Rupp, both parents and brother Eddie Slusher. Carole is survived by her daughters, Sandra Brogdon of Thornton, Natasha "Nikki" (Justin) Blair of Fort Lupton, brother Robert (Susie) Slusher of Westminster, Grandson Matthew (Leah) Brogdon of Thornton, Granddaughters Emily and Rylee Blair of Fort Lupton, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
