Allen B. Sandoval Sr. born March 28, 1953 in Denver, passed away February 25, 2021 at the age of 67. Allen was born to Margarito Max Sandoval and Mary Frances Sisneros. Both deceased. Allen was the third oldest of ten kids. Allen attended Brighton schools thru the 9 th grade. Not long after high school he joined the U.S. Army at the age of 17 in 1972. He was stationed in Fort Dix, New Jersey. Then sent to Berlin, Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1978. He married his high school sweetheart Barbara Gurule in 1975. They had four kids 3 girls and 1 boy. They later divorced. He worked various jobs: Beverly Manor, Fitz Simmons, US West Direct, and DPI for the last 20 plus years. He then married Linda Redshaw in 1987. He inherited 2 more boys with this marriage. They divorced in 2003. He had a huge love for softball. He was a fast pitch pitcher and a hard hitter. He played for the Brighton Rams, the Taco Pods and the Coors Extra Gold Draft. He played for 15 years. He also had a love of music. He played in a band every Friday night at the skating rink in his younger years. He loved his oldies music. He loved to sing crusin by Smoky Robinson. He truly loved being around his grandkids and great grandkids. They were the lights of his life. He loved country drives, and driving around looking at Christmas lights.
He is survived by his children; Antoinette Sandoval (Robert), Jeanette Sandoval, Lori Sandoval, Allen Sandoval Jr., William Redshaw (Amanda) and Mathew Glover (Ashley).
Also survived by his siblings Maxine Morales, Lyle Sandoval, Duane Sandoval, Eric Sandoval (Shelly), and Valerie Sandoval.
Allen had 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father Margarito Sandoval, mother Frances Sandoval, sister Kathleen Sandoval, brothers Kenneth, Chuck, and Adrian Sandoval.
He is loved by many and will be truly missed.
