Harriettte Louise Swendson

Harriette Louise Swendson passed away January 12, 2020 with family by her side. She was born on October 7, 1933 to Harry Daniel Garhart and Mildred Louise “Stitt “ Garhart, in Topeka Kansas. Harriette married the love of her life Gene Swendson in May of 1950 and soon moved to California when Gene enlisted in the Navy. Returning to Topeka in 1955 with Gene and 2 year old Gene Jr. and eventually moving to Boulder Colorado in 1968 or 69. She worked for Woolworths as a Supervisor till closure of the store. After the closure she became a home maker. Harriette and Gene moved to Louisville in 1986, Loveland in 88 and then to Lafayette in 94. Harriette is preceded in death by her husband Gene. She is survived by son Gene Swendson Jr. from Superior Colorado a granddaughter and a great grandson. Brother Charles Garhart in Colorado , sisters Susie, Jeannie, Sandy, Brenda, Karen, and a brother Silvan, many nieces and nephews. Harriettte will be greatly miss and forever in the hearts of the people who knew her.
